From E. coli. This recombinant enzyme has been expressed in E. coli and purified by affinity chromatography. Electrophoretically homogeneous (MW 43,900).
In 3.2 M ammonium sulphate.
Specific activity: ~ 100 U/mg (25oC, pH 7.6, on mannose 6-phosphate).
Stable at 4oC for > 4 years.
